Felicia “Daffy” Goldwire
My name is Felicia "Daffy" Goldwire and I have been a member of the Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club for the past 4 years. Being a soldier gives me the opportunity to give back to the community by sharing the history of the Buffalo Soldiers with folks in the community who may have no idea of their bravery and sacrifice.
My love of riding began two years ago when I took the basic rider class offered by Harley Davidson and bought my first bike, a Sportster 1200 Low that I named Baby Blu.. I rode her everywhere, even as far as New Orleans, Louisiana in July 2009. Since that time, I traded Baby Blu in for my new baby, a beautiful cobalt blue Heritage Softail named Icy Blu. Icy due to all the shiny chrome (Bling!!).
I encourage all females out there to explore the possibility of riding a motorcycle.. It brings me so much joy and happiness and I know it will do the same for you. I have had some great mentors in riding and I hope to be the same for other women.
